No More Procrastinating

In effort to stop procrastinating, I am going to list what I intend to accomplish by the end of the week - if I put it out there, regardless of whether or not anyone sees it, it may just spur me into action!

1) Revise, revise, revise - damn! If I had no conscience, I would not be concerned with the protecting of the innocent, and I could reasonably consider my manuscript a fait accompli

2) Buy wedding gift for wedding attended last weekend, before honeymoon ends!!!!

3) Gather stuff for yard sale

4) Order checks - get cash for dog walker

5) Send ecards to June birthdays

6) Get ceiling fans installed

7) Address flagged emails:

• update Rick's email address and cell phone number
• confirm lunch with Shelley
• forward angel messenger of peace email to 12 people, lest I suffer the wrath of God
• send email to sender of above email demanding she cease and desist sending me such emails, lest she suffer the wrath of me
• end poverty
• save the internet

Hopefully, by week's end, there will be nothing left to do, and a new list can be created.

I'm a Newbie

With dashed hopes I create my blog...I had been perusing this site, totally enjoying what most people had to say, when I came across Miss Snark! Miss Snark had a lot of valuable information and advice, most interesting to me though, was the promise of lessons on how to marry George Clooney - with my heart a flutter, I emailed her asking when this course might start. Turns out she isn't willing to share after all - guess that was just a lure to her blog...effective I must say, and aside from the huge disappointment, her blog is rather brilliant, I'll give her that - but I'm not about to back off my dreams of becoming the next Mrs. George Clooney - I might have to wait until his pet pig dies though - my poodle cross has just expressed an unsettlingly voracious appetite for bacon - anybody know the life expectancy of a pot-bellied pig?
